Avinash Velhal has been appointed as COO & CTO at Asset Sentinel, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished technology and business leadership journey.

Avinash brings nearly 39 years of professional experience across technology leadership, IT strategy, digital transformation, IT infrastructure, enterprise technology, business operations, governance, and strategic advisory.
Prior to joining Asset Sentinel, Avinash served as Chief Information Officer at Einnosec, where he led technology initiatives remotely across the United States.

Earlier, he served as CIO – Growing Markets – APAC, India, Middle East, Africa & South America at Atos International, following his role as Group CIO – IMEA, Vice President & Head – IT & Process. At Atos, he managed enterprise-wide IT investments and strategic technology and process initiatives across India, the Middle East and Africa, supporting an organization of 8,000+ employees.

Avinash also served as Chief Executive Officer at SME Technology Development Council, bringing his technology expertise into a broader business and industry leadership role.

His professional journey includes several strategic advisory and ecosystem leadership positions. He currently serves as President of CIOKlub Mumbai, Technology Advisor at the Chamber for Indo-Russo Technology Collaboration, Advisor at Aditya Institute of Management & Research (AIMSR), and Founder of PMnet.in.

Earlier, Avinash spent over 15 years with Siemens IT Solutions and Services, progressing from Deputy General Manager – IT Services to Cluster CIO – South Asia. He also served as Manager at Siemens, strengthening his expertise in organizational systems and technology management.
He began his professional career with Larsen & Toubro as an Industrial Engineer, following his early role as Associate Consultant at Bombay Productivity Council.

With extensive expertise across Technology Strategy, Digital Transformation, IT Governance, Enterprise IT, Infrastructure, Business Transformation, Technology Advisory, IT Services, and Organizational Leadership, Avinash is well-positioned to lead Asset Sentinel's technology and operational agenda as COO & CTO.
