Ujjwal Joshi has been elevated to the role of Director – Procurement & Supply Chain at Aligned Automation, marking a significant leadership milestone as the organization continues to strengthen its operational and supply chain capabilities.

In this role, Ujjwal will lead procurement strategy, supply chain operations, vendor management, and process optimization initiatives, focusing on driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and resilient supply chain frameworks to support the company’s growth agenda.

Ujjwal brings over a decade of extensive experience across procurement, global sourcing, category management, and supply chain leadership. He has been associated with Aligned Automation for over 5 years, most recently serving as Associate Director – Procurement, where he led procurement services for a Fortune 500 petrochemical manufacturer while supporting business development initiatives for existing and prospective clients.

Prior to this, he held key leadership roles at Aligned Automation including Procurement Services Lead and Senior Category Manager Lead, driving procurement transformation and strategic sourcing programs.

Earlier, Ujjwal spent over 4 years at Maersk Procurement, where he worked as Category Manager and Assistant Category Manager, managing global marine procurement categories and strengthening supplier management frameworks.

He began his career with Mahindra & Mahindra, progressing through multiple roles including Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, and Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) within global sourcing functions across automotive, farm equipment, and agri-business divisions.

Academically, Ujjwal holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from Siksha 'O'​ Anusandhan University University, where he was actively involved in robotics and engineering activities.

With a strong track record in strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, and supply chain excellence, Ujjwal is well-positioned to support Aligned Automation’s next phase of growth and operational leadership.
