Kavitha Srinivasulu appointed as Vice President – Chief Cyber & AI Security Officer at Persistent Systems

Kavitha Srinivasulu has been appointed as Vice President – Chief Cyber & AI Security Officer at Persistent Systems, taking on a strategic leadership role focused on strengthening cybersecurity and AI security capabilities across the organization.

Kavitha brings 23+ years of experience across cybersecurity, cyber risk, data privacy, security architecture, governance, resilience, and technology transformation. Most recently, she served as Program Director – Cybersecurity and Data Privacy | Process Optimization and Digital Transformation at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in London. Earlier, she held roles at TCS including Cybersecurity Services & Security Architect and Global Head – Cyber Risk & Data Privacy – BFSI.

Prior to TCS, Kavitha served as Vice President & Head of Cybersecurity at GAVS Technologies, followed by Associate Director – Head of Cyber Security Resilience, Data Privacy, ISO & Solution Architect at AstraZeneca. She also held a cybersecurity and risk leadership role at Wipro, focused on cyber security, risk services, governance and assurance.

Earlier in her career, she spent over four years with Bank of America, working across vendor technology management, GRC, global business resilience, security controls, program management, data protection, auditing and resiliency. She began her career with Verizon and Wipro, building a strong foundation in risk controls, security governance, technology and service delivery.

Kavitha also contributes to the cybersecurity ecosystem through leadership and advisory roles with Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) India, Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC), CyberEdBoard Community, and the National Cyber Defence Research Centre (NCDRC).
