Jeevan Thankappan has been appointed as Managing Editor – Middle East & Africa at Intelligent Global Media, marking a significant leadership milestone in his distinguished media and editorial career.

In this role, Jeevan will lead editorial strategy, content development, thought leadership initiatives, and market expansion efforts across the Middle East and Africa region, further strengthening the publication’s influence and industry engagement.

Jeevan brings over two decades of experience across journalism, editorial leadership, publishing, media strategy, and content development. Prior to this appointment, he served as Managing Editor at GEC Media Group, where he led editorial operations and content strategy across the technology and business media landscape.

Earlier, he spent more than six years as Managing Editor at
Insight Media & Publishing LLC, driving editorial excellence and industry-focused publishing initiatives across the Middle East region.

Before that, Jeevan served as Group Editor at CPI Media Group for over 13 years, where he played a pivotal role in shaping editorial direction, content strategy, and publication growth across multiple media platforms.

He began his journalism journey as Senior Correspondent at Jasubhai Digital Media, building a strong foundation in technology reporting, industry analysis, and business journalism.

With a proven track record in editorial leadership, content innovation, and media management, Jeevan is well-positioned to strengthen Intelligent Global Media’s presence across the Middle East and Africa while driving impactful industry storytelling.
