Sanku Bose, PhD Bose has joined as Vice-Chancellor at Amity University Kolkata, marking a significant leadership appointment in the higher education sector.

In this role, he will lead academic strategy, institutional growth, research excellence, and industry collaboration, strengthening the university’s position as a leading center for higher education and innovation.

Sanku Bose brings over three decades of diverse leadership experience spanning academia, global consulting, and corporate leadership. Most recently, he served as Vice-Chancellor at Sister Nivedita University and Group CEO of Techno India Group, where he drove strategy, growth, and international partnerships across education, healthcare, and innovation ecosystems.

Earlier, he served as President & CEO at JK Technosoft Solutions, leading global digital transformation initiatives under the JK Group. He also held a senior leadership role at Atos as Vice President – Consulting & Enterprise Applications (North America), where he drove digital enterprise transformation, large deal structuring, and strategic partnerships.

His early career includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University and a DAAD Fellow at The University of Bonn, along with experience as a management consultant in the USA, reflecting a unique blend of academic depth and corporate expertise.
🎓 Education:

Sanku holds a Ph.D. in AI & Robotics and a Master’s degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, one of India’s premier institutions.
