Suresh Karnati has been appointed as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Ageas Federal Life Insurance, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its digital transformation and technology innovation agenda.

In this role, Suresh will lead enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation initiatives, IT operations, cybersecurity alignment, and innovation programs, focusing on enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and business agility across the organization.

Suresh brings over two decades of extensive experience across information technology, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and insurance technology leadership. Prior to joining Ageas Federal Life Insurance, he spent more than 21 years with Bajaj Life where he held multiple senior leadership positions including Senior Executive Vice President, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, Associate Vice President, and Technical Architect.

During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving technology modernization, enterprise architecture initiatives, digital transformation programs, and innovation-led business growth across the organization.

Earlier, he worked with Aviva India as Assistant Manager and began his leadership journey at Bajaj Life Team Lead, building deep expertise in insurance technology, IT strategy, and large-scale enterprise systems.
With a distinguished track record in technology leadership, digital innovation, and business transformation, Suresh is well-positioned to support Ageas Federal Life Insurance’s next phase of digital evolution and technology excellence.
