Leadership Appointment | GreatCXO

Raj Upadhyay has been appointed as Vice President & Head of Technology Infrastructure at Coforge, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its technology operations, digital infrastructure, and enterprise transformation capabilities.

In this role, Raj will lead technology infrastructure strategy, cloud and data center operations, cybersecurity alignment, IT service delivery, and infrastructure modernization initiatives, focusing on enabling scalable, secure, and resilient technology platforms to support business growth.

Raj brings over two decades of extensive experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, IT operations, digital transformation, and technology leadership. Prior to joining Coforge, he served as Vice President of Technology at EXL, leading strategic technology initiatives and enterprise infrastructure transformation programs.

Earlier, he spent over 6 years with Genpact, where he held senior leadership positions including Vice President – Information Technology and Assistant Vice President. During his tenure, he led large-scale IT infrastructure modernization, enterprise technology strategy, service transformation, and operational excellence initiatives.

He also served as Associate Director – IT at UnitedHealth Group, managing critical technology infrastructure and enterprise IT operations.

Before that, Raj held leadership roles at Genpact's Enterprise Architecture Team as AVP and Senior Manager – IT, where he led technology evaluations, enterprise architecture initiatives, large-scale IT programs, cloud adoption, cost optimization, and infrastructure transformation projects.

With a distinguished track record in enterprise technology leadership, infrastructure strategy, and digital transformation, Raj is well-positioned to support Coforge’s next phase of growth and innovation.
