Leadership Appointment | GreatCXO

Ashu Gupta has been appointed as Senior Director – Digital & AI (Group CDO) at Jubilant Pharmova Limited, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization accelerates its digital transformation and AI-driven innovation agenda.

In this role, Ashu will lead enterprise-wide digital and AI initiatives, focusing on data-driven transformation, technology modernization, automation, and scalable digital capabilities to support business growth and operational excellence across the group.

Ashu brings extensive leadership experience across digital transformation, analytics, innovation, and enterprise technology. Prior to this appointment,
he served as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) & Head of Innovation at TotalEnergies, leading digital and innovation initiatives focused on operational excellence and technology-driven transformation.

Earlier, he worked with DMart - Avenue Supermarts Ltd Ltd. (DMart) as General Manager – Head of Analytics, driving data-led business insights and analytics capabilities. He also served as General Manager – Digital Transformation at Mankind Pharma, leading enterprise transformation initiatives across business functions.

Before this, Ashu spent nearly a decade with Lupin as Deputy General Manager, contributing significantly to digital transformation, technology modernization, and operational excellence programs within the pharmaceutical sector.

With a strong track record in AI, digital innovation, analytics, and business transformation, Ashu is well-positioned to strengthen Jubilant Pharmova’s digital ecosystem and AI-led growth strategy.
