Deepak Gupta has been elevated as Head – TIAA Global Capabilities at TIAA, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey.

In this expanded role, Deepak will lead global capability centers, enterprise operations, technology strategy, and transformation initiatives, driving scalability and operational excellence across TIAA’s global ecosystem.

Deepak has been associated with TIAA for over 7 years, progressing through multiple senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Deputy Head – TIAA Global Capabilities & Head of Technology & Business Shared Services, and earlier as Senior Managing Director – Head of Enterprise Shared Services Technology, leading large-scale technology and shared services transformation initiatives.

He has also led enterprise technology functions including Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, and Corporate Technology, driving cloud strategy (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), digital transformation, and enterprise modernization programs across the organization.

Prior to TIAA, Deepak spent over 13 years at Fidelity Investments, where he held multiple leadership roles including Head of Cloud & Enterprise Technology Innovation (India), Senior Director – Cloud & Platform Hosting, and Director – Product Management, managing global cloud platforms, container services, and enterprise IT transformation initiatives.

Earlier in his career, he worked with GE and CMC Ltd, building strong expertise in technology delivery, program management, and enterprise systems.
With a proven track record in global capability leadership, cloud transformation, and enterprise technology strategy, Deepak is well-positioned to drive TIAA’s next phase of global growth and innovation.
