Garima Kochar has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at KEC Asian Cables Ltd., marking a strategic leadership move as the organization strengthens its people and culture agenda.

In this role, Garima will lead HR strategy, talent management, organizational development, leadership hiring, employee engagement, and culture transformation, supporting the company’s growth and operational excellence.

Garima brings extensive experience across HR leadership, organizational transformation, and talent development. Most recently, she served as Vice President – Human Resources at Apraava Energy, where she led people strategy and HR initiatives supporting business growth.

Prior to this, she was Chief People Officer at Evonith Steel, driving organizational transformation, talent strategy, and leadership development initiatives.

She also spent over 17 years with Holcim (Ambuja & ACC Cement), where she held multiple leadership roles including Head HR & Admin (Pan India divisions), Head – Leadership Development, and Head – Performance Management & Employee Engagement, playing a key role in building leadership pipelines, driving performance frameworks, and enhancing employee engagement at scale.

With a proven track record in people leadership, HR transformation, and culture building, Garima is well-positioned to drive KEC Asian Cables’ next phase of growth through strong human capital strategy.
