Lavin Kanase has been elevated as Vice President & Head – Technology Engineering & Operations (TEO) at ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company Ltd., marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey.

In this expanded role, Lavin will lead technology engineering, IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems, driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across the organization.

Lavin has been associated with ManipalCigna for over 3 years, where he has progressed through multiple leadership roles including Deputy Vice President & Head – IT Infrastructure, Chief IT Security Officer (CITSO), and Vice President & Head – IT Infrastructure, leading infrastructure transformation, cybersecurity strategy, and enterprise IT operations.
Prior to this, he served as Director – Global IT at Accelya Group, driving global IT strategy and operations.

He also spent over 3 years at RBL Bank, holding roles such as Deputy Vice President and Assistant Vice President – Information Technology, contributing to IT infrastructure and banking technology initiatives.

Earlier, he worked with Netmagic Solutions (An NTT Communications Company) as Assistant Manager – Service Operations, and began his career at Wipro Limited as a Technical Specialist – Server Management, building strong foundations in infrastructure and enterprise IT systems.

With a proven track record in technology leadership, infrastructure modernization, and cybersecurity, Lavin is well-positioned to drive ManipalCigna’s next phase of digital and operational excellence.
