Leadership Appointment | GreatCXO

Venkatesh Thenkarai has been appointed as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Bahwan CyberTek, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization accelerates its digital innovation and transformation agenda.

In this role, Venkatesh will lead enterprise digital strategy, AI-led transformation, data & analytics, platform innovation, and customer-centric digital initiatives, enabling scalable growth and delivering enhanced value for global clients.

Venkatesh brings extensive experience across digital transformation, global delivery leadership, and technology innovation. Most recently, he served as Chief Delivery Officer & Corporate SVP at WNS, where he led large multi-tower technology deals, solution architecture, and end-to-end delivery, while driving AI-led innovation including Agentic AI integration, post-M&A integration, and delivery-led transformation for profitable growth.

Prior to this, he worked with Ciklum as Country Head – India and Head of Engineering & Delivery, where he played a key role in building and scaling engineering capabilities, establishing AI and cloud-native practices, and expanding teams to support high-growth delivery models.

He also spent over 7 years at Cognizant as Assistant Vice President and Client Partner, driving business growth, cloud transformation, and client engagement strategies. Earlier, he held multiple leadership roles at
Cognizant, including Director – Head of Insurance Quality Engineering & Assurance, Associate Director, Senior Delivery Manager, and Technical Lead, building deep expertise in program management, delivery excellence, and technology transformation.

With a proven track record in AI-driven transformation, global delivery leadership, and digital innovation, Venkatesh is well-positioned to drive Bahwan CyberTek’s next phase of growth and technology leadership.
