Leadership Appointment | GreatCXO

N K Panda has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Gemstar Infra India Private Limited Infra India Pvt. Ltd., marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its infrastructure growth and operational excellence agenda.

In this role, N K Panda will lead overall business strategy, project execution, operational management, and growth initiatives, focusing on driving sustainable expansion, infrastructure excellence, and long-term business value creation.

N K Panda brings extensive leadership experience across infrastructure, telecom, power transmission, convergence technologies, and business transformation.
Prior to joining Gemstar Infra India Pvt. Ltd., he served as Managing Director – India & Nepal at Maccaferri Environmental Solutions, leading advanced civil, geotechnical, and environmental infrastructure solutions across the region.

Earlier, he spent nearly 8 years with STERLITE POWER TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, where he held multiple senior leadership roles including Chief Business Acquisition Officer and Business Head – Convergence. During his tenure, he played a key role in building robust power transmission project pipelines, scaling convergence and new business initiatives, and driving strategic growth across the organization.

He also served as Managing Director of
MAHARASHTRA TRANSMISSION COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED (MTCIL), a joint venture between Sterlite and Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Ltd., where he led the turnaround and expansion of the OPGW fiber network business.

Before this, N K Panda worked with Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. in Corporate Strategy & Customer Acquisition, contributing to strategic growth and telecom expansion initiatives.

With a distinguished track record in infrastructure development, business growth, and operational leadership, N K Panda is well-positioned to lead Gemstar Infra India Pvt. Ltd.’s next phase of expansion and transformation.
