Leadership Appointment | GreatCXO

Priyabrata Pattnaik has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Ami Polymer, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its growth, innovation, and operational excellence agenda.

In this role, Priyabrata will lead overall business strategy, operations, market expansion, and organizational growth initiatives, focusing on driving innovation, customer-centric solutions, and sustainable business performance.

Priyabrata brings extensive global leadership experience across life sciences, vaccines, biologics, healthcare, and biomanufacturing. Prior to this appointment, he has been serving as Strategic Advisor to life sciences and healthcare startups, mentoring founders and leadership teams on R&D, commercialization, operational scale-up, and strategic growth initiatives.

Earlier, he served as Deputy Managing Director & Executive Board Member at Indian Immunologicals Limited, where he led technical operations across manufacturing, R&D, quality, engineering, supply chain, and vaccine operations for animal and human healthcare products.

He also worked as Consultant – Vaccine Development & CMC at the
Gates Foundation, providing strategic and technical consulting support for global health and vaccine initiatives.

Before this, Priyabrata spent over 12 years with Merck Life Science in multiple senior global leadership roles including Director – End-to-End Solutions Asia Pacific, Head of Biologics Operations – Asia Pacific, Director – Worldwide Vaccine Initiative, and Senior Manager – Biomanufacturing Sciences. During his tenure, he led biologics testing operations, vaccine business strategy, global collaborations, and large-scale biopharma growth initiatives across international markets.

With a distinguished track record in healthcare innovation, vaccine manufacturing, biologics operations, and strategic leadership, Priyabrata is well-positioned to lead Ami Polymer into its next phase of growth and transformation.
