Leadership Appointment | GreatCXO

Pranil Bhamare has been appointed as Director – Food Safety & Quality at McCain Foods India, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its quality, food safety, and operational excellence initiatives.

In this role, Pranil will lead food safety, quality assurance, compliance, and process excellence initiatives, focusing on strengthening product quality standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiencies across the organization.

Pranil brings extensive experience across food safety, quality management, manufacturing operations, and process optimization within the food and FMCG industry. Prior to joining McCain Foods India, he spent nearly 14 years with McDonald's’s, where he held multiple leadership roles including Associate Director – Quality Systems & Food Safety, General Manager – Quality Systems, Deputy General Manager – QA, Senior Manager – QA, Quality Assurance Manager, and Deputy Manager – QA.

During his tenure, he led enterprise-wide food safety, quality systems, supplier quality management, and compliance initiatives, contributing significantly to operational excellence and global quality standards.

Earlier, he worked with Cargill as Food Safety Coordinator – Assistant Manager QA, managing food safety and quality analysis operations, and before that served as Quality Control Executive at PepsiCo India Holdings Pvt. Ltd. He also began his professional journey with General Mills as Production Executive.

With a strong track record in food safety leadership, quality assurance, and manufacturing excellence, Pranil is well-positioned to support McCain Foods India’s continued growth and commitment to global quality standards.
