Asha B V appointed as Senior Director, Head of Global Software Engineering IGT at Philips India Limited - Healthcare Division

We are pleased to share that Asha B V has been appointed as Senior Director, Head of Global Software Engineering IGT at Philips India Limited – Healthcare Division.

Asha brings 25+ years of experience in software engineering, engineering leadership, program management and global technology operations.
She has been with Philips India Limited since 2023, serving as Senior Director of Global Software Engineering, leading global software engineering initiatives from Bengaluru.

Before joining Philips, Asha spent over 20 years with Bosch, progressing through leadership roles including General Manager and Deputy General Manager. She led software, algorithm, application development and systems engineering for passive safety products, while overseeing business planning, strategy and offshore engineering operations for global clients across North America, Europe, Japan and China.

During her Bosch tenure, she also led project management and quality functions, including building and leading engineering teams. As Project Manager, she led a 40-member engineering team, developed a second engineering team within six months, improved productivity by 25% and maintained attrition at 5% against an organisational rate of 10%.
