Vishal Kumar has been elevated as Director – Business Development at Crisil, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey.
In this expanded role, Vishal will lead business development strategy, client partnerships, revenue growth, and market expansion initiatives, driving growth across CRISIL’s analytics and advisory services.
Vishal has been associated with CRISIL for nearly 14 years, progressing through multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Associate Director – Business Development, where he played a key role in business planning, client engagement, and market expansion.
He began his journey at CRISIL as a Regional Manager – Research, building strong expertise in infrastructure, logistics, energy, and commodity sectors, and working closely with investment banking teams on primary market deals and customized research solutions.
Prior to CRISIL, he worked with Yes Bank as Senior Manager, and with ICICI Bank as Sales Manager, focusing on SME financing and working capital solutions.
Earlier, he held roles at DHL Danzas Lemuir Pvt Ltd and i-maritime Consultancy Private Limited, building a strong foundation in business development and logistics domain expertise.
With a proven track record in business development, research, and financial services, Vishal is well-positioned to drive CRISIL’s next phase of growth and client success.
