Saurabh Kumar has been appointed as Vice President – Human Resources at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its people and culture agenda.

In this role, Saurabh will lead HR strategy, talent management, leadership development, industrial relations, and organizational transformation, driving people excellence and supporting Maruti Suzuki’s continued growth.

Saurabh brings over a decade of experience with Maruti Suzuki, where he has progressed through multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Senior General Manager, after holding positions including Deputy General Manager – HR, Assistant General Manager, Senior Manager, and Manager, gaining deep expertise across HR operations, employee relations, and workforce management.

Prior to Maruti Suzuki, he worked with Tata Motors as Employee Relations Manager, where he built strong capabilities in industrial relations, union negotiations, and workforce engagement.

Earlier, he began his career at Hindalco Industries Limited as a Senior Officer, developing a strong foundation in HR practices, employee engagement, and compliance.

With a proven track record in HR leadership, industrial relations, and organizational development, Saurabh is well-positioned to drive Maruti Suzuki’s next phase of people and culture transformation.
