Dr. Birendra Singh has been elevated as Global Chief Quality Officer at MANKIND PHARMA LTD, marking a significant leadership milestone in his distinguished career spanning quality management, regulatory compliance, pharmacovigilance, manufacturing excellence, and pharmaceutical operations.

In this expanded global leadership role, Dr. Singh will oversee quality strategy, global quality systems, pharmacovigilance, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and quality governance across Mankind Pharma’s global operations. He will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s quality culture, advancing digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring adherence to world-class regulatory and compliance standards.

Dr. Singh brings over two decades of extensive experience across quality assurance, quality control, corporate compliance, pharmacovigilance, digital transformation, CSV, IT compliance, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. He has been associated with Mankind Pharma for nearly five years and most recently served as Senior President – Global Quality & Pharmacovigilance.
Prior to that, he held the position of President & Global Quality Head, leading strategic quality initiatives across more than 32 manufacturing sites and seven R&D centers while driving a culture of operational excellence and digital transformation.

Before joining Mankind Pharma, Dr. Singh spent over five years with Intas Pharmaceuticals, serving as Group Head – Quality and Senior Vice President – Corporate Quality. During his tenure, he led enterprise-wide quality assurance, quality control, corporate quality, compliance, digital transformation, computer system validation (CSV), and IT compliance programs.

Earlier, he served as Cluster Head – Quality at Zydus Group, overseeing quality operations across multiple manufacturing facilities, including OSD, soft gel, nasal, aerosol, transdermal, injectable, and vaccine manufacturing units.

Prior to Zydus, Dr. Singh spent eight years as Vice President – Quality at Panacea Biotec Ltd., where he played a key role in strengthening quality systems, compliance frameworks, and manufacturing excellence initiatives.
