Abhijit Joshi has been appointed as Managing Director at CVG - INDIA, marking a significant leadership milestone in his accomplished career spanning business leadership, manufacturing, commercial strategy, operations, and global business management.

In his new leadership role, Abhijit will drive CVG India's strategic vision, business growth, operational excellence, customer engagement, and market expansion initiatives, further strengthening the company's leadership in the commercial vehicle components industry.

Abhijit brings over 25 years of leadership experience across automotive, engineering, manufacturing, and industrial businesses. Prior to joining CVG India, he served as Vice President at Greaves Cotton Limited, where he led strategic growth initiatives, revenue expansion, P&L management, operational transformation, and domestic as well as international business development.

Earlier, he was Business Lead – Engine & Components Business at Tata Cummins Ltd, leading business strategy, commercial excellence, P&L management, process optimization, and global growth initiatives for the engine and components business.

Before that, Abhijit served as Head – Business (Country Head), Industrial Power Systems at Caterpillar Inc., where he managed business operations, manufacturing joint ventures, new product development, aftermarket growth, and cross-functional business leadership.

He also spent over four years as General Manager (Country Head) at Cummins Generator Technologies, successfully driving business growth, operational excellence, Six Sigma-led transformation, order-to-cash optimization, and new product launches.

Academically, Abhijit has completed the Strategic Leadership Management program from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) and holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, where he was recognized as a Star Alumni Award recipient.

With proven expertise in business transformation, P&L leadership, manufacturing, strategic planning, and commercial excellence, Abhijit is exceptionally well-positioned to lead CVG India's next phase of growth and value creation.
