Eranga Perera has been appointed as Head of Information Technology at Hayleys Retail Holdings Limited, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its technology and digital transformation capabilities.

In this role, Eranga will lead IT strategy, enterprise technology operations, digital transformation initiatives, and infrastructure modernization, focusing on enabling scalable business growth and operational excellence across the retail ecosystem.

Eranga brings over two decades of extensive experience across enterprise technology, retail IT operations, digital transformation, infrastructure management, and business systems leadership.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Head of IT & Leadership Team Member at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. Lanka Pvt. Ltd., where he led enterprise-wide IT and digital transformation initiatives supporting rapid business growth, customer experience, cybersecurity, and operational resilience.

Earlier, he spent over 15 years with JAYKAY MARKETING SERVICES (PVT.) LIMITED / John Keells Holdings PLC, progressing through multiple leadership roles including Manager – Information Technology Division, Assistant Manager IT, Information Technology Executive, Junior Systems Engineer, and IT Intern. During his tenure, he led large-scale IT modernization, SAP integrations, POS systems, loyalty platforms, data warehouse initiatives, disaster recovery systems, and enterprise infrastructure transformation projects.

With a strong track record in digital innovation, retail technology, infrastructure transformation, and enterprise IT leadership, Eranga is well-positioned to support Hayleys Retail Holdings Limited’s next phase of digital growth and operational excellence.
