Brajesh Kumar has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chandigarh Power Distribution Ltd. (CPDL) under the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its operational and digital transformation agenda in the power distribution sector.
In this role, Brajesh will lead overall business operations, power distribution strategy, customer-centric initiatives, and digital modernization programs, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, improving grid reliability, and building a future-ready energy ecosystem for Chandigarh.
Brajesh brings over 25 years of extensive leadership experience across power distribution, infrastructure operations, and industrial management. Prior to this appointment, he held leadership roles at BSES Yamuna Power Limited, Reliance Infrastructure, Jindal Steel Ltd., and Hindalco Industries Limited, building strong expertise in operational excellence, utility management, and digital transformation initiatives.
With a distinguished track record in energy sector leadership, process optimization, and customer-focused transformation, Brajesh is well-positioned to lead CPDL’s next phase of growth and modernization.
