Leadership Appointment | GreatCXO

Wolfgang Weber has been appointed as Director – Digital Transformation at Reckitt, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to accelerate its digital and technology transformation agenda.

In this role, Wolfgang will lead digital transformation initiatives focused on Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, operational excellence, and data-driven innovation, supporting Reckitt’s long-term growth and digital-first strategy.

Wolfgang brings over three decades of global leadership experience across digital transformation, engineering, manufacturing technology, supply chain, and sustainability. Prior to joining Reckitt, he spent more than 30 years at Henkel, where he held multiple senior global leadership positions.

Most recently, he served as Head of Global Engineering & Manufacturing Technology / CAPEX / Investments, leading global engineering operations, manufacturing transformation, and investment governance across worldwide operations.

He also held the role of Head of Global Engineering / Industry 4.0 / Digital Transformation – Supply Chain, where he drove Henkel’s global Industry 4.0 strategy across 35 factories worldwide and led large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Under his leadership, Henkel received multiple World Economic Forum “Fourth Industrial Revolution Lighthouse” recognitions for digital manufacturing excellence. He successfully implemented smart factory concepts, IoT-enabled operations, predictive maintenance, robotics, and real-time KPI systems, significantly improving operational efficiency, sustainability, and supply chain performance.

Over the course of his career, Wolfgang also held leadership roles across SHEQ, supply chain strategy, plant management, M&A integration, manufacturing innovation, and global engineering governance, overseeing large-scale CAPEX portfolios and complex transformation programs across Europe, Asia, LATAM, and the Middle East.

In addition, he served as an Advisory Board Member – Global Lighthouse Network at the World Economic Forum, contributing to global thought leadership around AI, sustainability, competitiveness, and industrial transformation.

With a distinguished track record in digital transformation, Industry 4.0, manufacturing excellence, and global operations leadership, Wolfgang is well-positioned to drive Reckitt’s next phase of digital innovation and operational transformation.
