Vikas Goel has been appointed as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) at NCDEX, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished leadership journey across capital markets, commodities, treasury, financial services, and exchange operations.

As Managing Director & CEO, Vikas will lead NCDEX's strategic vision, business growth, market expansion, digital transformation, operational excellence, regulatory engagement, and innovation initiatives, strengthening the exchange's position in India's commodity markets ecosystem.

Vikas brings over three decades of leadership experience across capital markets, treasury, fixed income, commodities, financial services, and market infrastructure. Prior to joining NCDEX, he served as Managing Director & CEO of PNB Gilts Limited (Subsidiary of Punjab National Bank), where he successfully led the organization's strategic growth, treasury operations, and market leadership for nearly six years.

In parallel, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and earlier as Director at the Primary Dealer's Association of India, contributing significantly to the development of India's primary dealer ecosystem and fixed-income markets.

Earlier, Vikas held senior leadership positions with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) as Executive Director, leading Global Markets for South Asia, and previously served as Executive Director at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, where he managed treasury and global market operations across the region.

With proven expertise in Capital Markets, Commodity Markets, Treasury, Fixed Income, Global Markets, Financial Services, Market Infrastructure, and Business Leadership, Vikas is exceptionally well-positioned to lead NCDEX into its next phase of innovation, market expansion, and sustainable growth.
