Leadership Appointment | GreatCXO

Deepak Khurana, CPSCM™ has been appointed as Vice President & Head – Supply Chain Management (SCM) at SCL Lifesciences Limited, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization strengthens its supply chain and operational capabilities.

In this role, Deepak will lead end-to-end supply chain strategy, procurement, demand planning, logistics, and operational efficiency initiatives, ensuring seamless operations and supporting business growth.

Deepak brings extensive experience across pharma, CDMO, API manufacturing, and specialty chemicals supply chains. Most recently, he served as Vice President – SCM at Cohance Lifesciences, where he led procurement and supply chain functions across API manufacturing, formulations, CDMO, and agro businesses.

He has strong expertise in strategic sourcing, demand planning (MRP), logistics, EXIM operations, vendor development, and capex procurement, consistently delivering cost savings (6–7%), cost avoidance, and working capital optimization while ensuring regulatory compliance and supply continuity.

Prior to this, he worked with Curia as GM – Global Procurement & Sourcing (EMEA & India), managing global procurement operations and leading cross-functional teams across regions.

He also served as Director – Business Operations at Celeste Life Sciences, where he managed end-to-end business operations, project execution, and customer engagement for a startup environment.

Earlier, he held the role of DGM – Supply Chain Management at
Jubilant Chemsys -> Jubilant Biosys Limited Limited, building a strong foundation in procurement and supply chain operations.

With a proven track record in supply chain transformation, cost optimization, and global procurement leadership, Deepak is well-positioned to drive SCL Lifesciences’ next phase of growth and operational excellence.
