Jitender Sethi has been elevated to the role of Managing Director at Accenture, marking a significant leadership milestone in his professional journey and reflecting the organization’s confidence in his leadership, expertise, and business impact.

In this expanded role, Jitender will play a key part in driving strategic client engagements, enterprise transformation initiatives, digital innovation, operational excellence, and business growth across global markets.

Jitender brings over two decades of extensive experience across business transformation, finance operations, consulting, shared services, digital transformation, and global service delivery. He has been associated with Accenture for over 10 years across two tenures and currently serves as Associate Director & Transformation Lead, leading large-scale transformation programs for complex global accounts spanning finance, procurement, supply chain, marketing, master data, and HR operations.

His expertise includes AI and GenAI-led transformation, operating model redesign, process modernization, executive stakeholder management, and scaling innovation across global enterprises.

Prior to his current role, Jitender served as Service Delivery Leader at IBM, where he led strategic delivery and operational transformation initiatives.
Earlier, during his previous tenure at Accenture, he held leadership positions including Vice President – Operations and AVP – Operations. He managed large global finance and accounting engagements, led teams of over 700 professionals, drove digital transformation programs, managed P&L responsibilities, and delivered services across multiple countries and business functions.

Before Accenture, he spent several years with Genpact, serving as Operations Lead and Senior Manager. During this period, he successfully led healthcare accounting transformation initiatives in the United States, established new operating models, implemented process excellence programs, and drove large-scale finance transformation engagements.

With a distinguished track record in global operations, business transformation, finance leadership, AI-enabled modernization, and enterprise consulting, Jitender is exceptionally well-positioned to contribute to Accenture’s continued growth and market leadership as Managing Director.
